Lucy leads our non-contentious Wills and estates team to provide easy to understand succession and estate administration advice. As well as practising law, she brings together people, technology and processes to design and deliver our innovative legal services.
Lucy, known as “The Producer” in Adobe Creative Type, is analytical, pragmatic and creative, but balanced with a realist and “get it done” attitude. Her high standards, leadership and tech proficiency continuously drives our innovative legal services.
In 2010, working side-by-side with technology partner ContactsLaw, Lucy developed systems that enabled Flat Rate Settlements to dramatically reduce costs and improve service quality. Leveraging these benefits and its flat-rate pricing model, the firm brought revolutionary change to the conveyancing industry in Western Australia.
Following the success with Flat Rate Settlements, Lucy led the development of the firm’s on-the-spot services – interactive systems enabling the delivery of many of our services in one client consultation.
Lucy actively tries to transform and revolutionise the way lawyers do business and shares her thoughts through her podcast, Doing Law Differently and in her best-selling book, It’s Time To Do Law Differently.
In 2020 she was recognised as The Law Society of Western Australia’s Lawyer of the Year, an award that recognises practitioners who have made a noteworthy contribution to the profession.
Lucy has three children and is passionate about supporting and encouraging working mothers to fulfil their career ambitions. She has produced over 100 episodes of The Juggle Podcast, dedicated to supporting women to have a satisfying career and a fulfilling family life.
