Most people who ring a law firm would rather not be ringing a law firm. Something has happened or is about to happen and they don’t know who they need. Laura Whyte is the person who sorts that out.

Laura is our office manager at Curae Law in Perth. Highly organised, dependable and unfailingly calm, she oversees the day to day running of the office with real care and pride: the phone lines, the incoming email, the document scanning and the front of house, all of it at once. If you’re not sure who you need, tell her what’s going on and she’ll work it out.

Her organisation is the reason the rest of us can stay on your file. Laura’s meticulous attention to detail means the lawyer acting for you is thinking about your matter and not about the admin around it.

Laura is originally from New Zealand and spent fourteen years at Flight Centre on both sides of the Tasman before she came to law. That’s fourteen years of untangling other people’s problems at short notice while they stood in front of her, worried. It shows.

Outside work she’s with her family, usually camping or at the beach.
