Office Administrator

Are you a detail-oriented and organised individual with a passion for the legal field? We are looking for an Office Administrator to join our growing law practice. As an Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Location: Perth CBD Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time 0.6 FTE+ Experience Level: 2+ Years

About us

At Curae Law, our mission is simple: We exist to help people simplify and solve legal problems.

We empower our clients to understand their legal problems, the options available to them and to make good decisions; and then to solve them, so they can move on with their lives. We do this through delivering practical, customer-focused services at incredibly high standards.

Key to our success is ContactsLaw, our in-house practice management software. If you’re into legal tech, you’ll love the opportunity to work with our developers and be part of the market launch!

We are looking for an Office Administrator to be the backbone of our law firm, ensuring efficiency, structure, and seamless day-to-day operations.

The role

A Curae Law team member is compassionate, never complacent, and upholds our high standards.

As part of our Office Administration team, you will be the face of our business, taking charge for our front-of-house. You will be expected to maintain strict levels of discretion and confidentiality, display a high level of initiative and have outstanding organisational skills.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Professional responses to client enquiries by phone and email
  • Taking charge of our front of house, including greeting new clients on arrival
  • Managing the firm’s incoming and outgoing documents, including scanning and electronically registering incoming documents and sending mail
  • Manage client intake and maintain client records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Maintaining our safe custody documents and procedures
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings and client appointments
  • Providing general legal secretarial support

This position is open to full-time and part-time applicants and will be based in our office in the Perth CBD.

This position would suit someone who is looking for a career in office administration or a part-time student looking for professional employment during their uni studies.

About you

We’re looking for a resourceful and solutions-driven professional who can work independently, take initiative, and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will:

  1. Have exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a passion for administration.

  2. Be self-motivated and able to take initiative, even under pressure.

  3. Approach challenges with problem-solving skills and a mindset for process improvement.

  4. Embody our core values: be kind, do things differently, and strive for excellence.

  5. While prior experience in office administration is highly regarded, it is not essential. What matters most is your ability to contribute effectively and confidently to our team.

What we offer

  • Rewarding work in a values-driven team where collaboration and excellence matter.
  • Professional growth through ongoing support, mentorship, and development opportunities—we’ll help you design a career path that aligns with your goals.

  • Work-life balance—no overtime or billable hours budgets. We work hard while we’re here, then encourage our team to enjoy life outside of work.

  • Genuine flexibility with our Core Working Hours policy, ensuring a balanced and adaptable work environment.

  • A vibrant team culture with regular social events—check out our Instagram to see what we’ve been up to!
