The role
A Curae Law team member is compassionate, never complacent, and upholds our high standards.
Under the direct supervision of the firm’s directors, you will take responsibility for:
Managing general ledger accounts, including reconciliations, creditors, debtors, payroll, and taxation compliance.
Overseeing trust accounting in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Handling bookkeeping for smaller, related businesses and superannuation funds.
Preparing financial reports for the firm and its associated entities.
Completing straightforward tax returns for the firm, superannuation funds, estates, and trusts.
Liaising with external accountants on complex matters to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Managing accounting services for the firm’s clients, including tax returns, ATO lodgements, and estate accounts.
This position is open to full-time and part-time applicants and will be based in our office in the Perth CBD.
About you
We’re looking for a confident and capable accounting professional who takes ownership of their work, can operate independently, and drives financial excellence with initiative. The ideal candidate will have:
2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a professional services setting.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and accounting principles.
The ability to take charge, make informed decisions, and support a high-performing team.
