Who we’re looking for

We are looking for lawyers to work in estate planning and non-contentious deceased estate matters. These positions are open to full-time and part-time applicants and will be based in our office in the Perth CBD.

Our preference is for an experienced lawyers who can hit the ground running and manage their own matters from the outset.  

Key responsibilities include:

  • conducting client meetings and leading pragmatic strategy development;
  • provide legal advice and guidance to clients, helping them understand their rights and options;
  • advice and preparation of Wills, testamentary trusts and related estate planning documents;
  • advice and preparation of Grant of Probate and Letters of Administration applications and estate administration services; and
  • contributing to business development and software enhancement.

Selection criteria

The successful applicant will:

  1. have a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to estate planning and deceased estates and be committed to a career as a lawyer in this practice area;
  2. have a proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously;
  3. demonstrate a track record of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to client satisfaction;
  4. share our mission to simplify and solve legal problems;
  5. embrace our core values: be kind, do things differently, and strive for excellence.

Applicants with at least 2 years pre or post admission experience in succession law (contentious or non-contentious) will be highly regarded.

Remuneration 

Salary to be negotiated depending on experience.
